For the Love of Love, and You.

First, Happy Valentine’s Day! Second, its a pretty important day for us and we wanted to share the love with you all. Two years ago today, before Queer SLO was even a twinkle in the Central Coast’s queer eye, we launched an LGBTQ+ wedding blog called Central Coast Gay Weddings. Aiming to be an area guide for LGBTQ+ weddings happening in and around SLO County, we set out to connect LGBTQ+ couples with 100% supportive vendors and venues who would cheer our queer couples on in their love. We also wanted to help establish San Luis Obispo County and California’s beautiful Central Coast as a premiere, overwhelmingly welcoming LGBTQ+ wedding destination.

LGBTQ+ weddings are lovely and amazing, so we’ll continue to feature them here at queerslo.com/weddings. But now we’re taking things an important step further. We don’t want the Central Coast to be just a welcoming LGBTQ+ wedding destination; we want the amazing place we call home to be a welcoming LGBTQ+ destination. Period. As THE LGBTQ+ guide to California’s Central Coast, Queer SLO aims to do just that. And we’d love your help doing it.

Queer SLO is all about supporting and connecting our incredible queer and ally community on California’s Central Coast. For our LGBTQ+ and ally San Luis Obispo natives, we want to strengthen our collective visibility in and around SLO County by highlighting our amazing community members who are living, working and raising families here. For our LGBTQ+ and ally friends who are visiting, vacationing, getting married here or thinking of relocating to the Central Coast, we want to serve as a doorway, opening all the queer-supportive ins and outs of our beautiful community for you to explore and enjoy.

Thank you for being on this journey with us. We love you.
